THE BLUEPRINT FOR HBCU SUCCESS.
The HBCU Summer Academy is a transformative five-week intensive designed specifically for high-achieving NYC students from underrepresented backgrounds. This immersive program bridges the gap between ambition and enrollment, providing a masterclass in navigated the complex landscape of historically Black institutions.
Each week, scholars build a distinct pillar of their academic legacy: from curating a strategic 60+ HBCU list and drafting high-impact personal statements, to mastering the nuances of financial aid and submitting finalized applications. We aren't just preparing students for college; we are building a network of future leaders.
JUNIOR TRACK — 11TH GRADE
- Build Your School List: Research and curate a strategic list of 60+ HBCUs tailored to your goals.
- Write Your Personal Statement: Draft high-impact essays that tell your unique story.
- Master Financial Aid: Learn the nuances of FAFSA, scholarships, and grants.
SENIOR TRACK — 12TH GRADE
- Execute the Plan: Finalize and submit common applications with expert oversight.
- Interview Preparation: Conduct mock interviews with HBCU alumni and recruiters.
- Secure the Bag: Finalize financial aid packages and scholarship acceptances.
